A New Leaf inspires and supports individuals and families in their journey to independence.
Autumn House Domestic Violence Shelter (East Valley) and Faith House Domestic Violence Shelter and Transitional Home (West Valley). Both shelters provide 120 days of emergency shelter with Faith House having transitional housing to afford victims and their children the time and resources to rebuild their lives. To find placement at either shelter, please call 480-890-3039 or 1-844-SAFEDVS. Services include:
- 24-hour crisis hotline
- Safe housing, meals and basic needs
- Case management, financial coaching and workforce development
- Counseling for life skills and educational classes
A New Leaf domestic violence court advocates are stationed in court facilities and provide anyone who is a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault with assistance regarding:
- Navigation through the protective order process
- Court accompaniment
- Resources and referrals
- Safety planning
La Mesita Family Homeless Shelter, is the only family emergency shelter in the East Valley providing a broad array of services to homeless families, as contracted through the Arizona Department of Economic Security. The first place to start is to call The Family Housing Hub at 602-595-8700.
East Valley Men’s Center
The East Valley Men’s Center (EVMC) is an emergency shelter for up to 76 homeless men who make the commitment to become self-sufficient and move back into the community. To find placement, please call 480-610-6722.
East Valley Women’s Center
A New Leaf’s East Valley Women’s Center (EVWC) is an 8-bed, emergency shelter that provides services to help homeless women. EVWC residents can stay up to 120 days, during which time participants work with support staff to find permanent housing solutions. To find placement, please call 480-969-1691.
